Alas Harum

Alas Harum is one of the most photogenic places in Ubud, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning views. It’s perfect for solo travelers, couples, families, or small groups of friends with fewer than ten people.

The location offers plenty of beautiful photo spots, including rice fields, small Balinese temples, caves, rivers, and bridges. It usually takes about 60 to 90 minutes to explore the entire area and capture a variety of backgrounds and lighting.

The best time to start your Alas Harum photoshoot is at 7:00 a.m. The light is soft, and the place is still quiet, making it easier to shoot comfortably. Morning sessions are ideal for avoiding crowds and getting natural, balanced photos.

Please keep in mind that Alas Harum has many stairs, so it’s not suitable for elderly guests. Try to avoid shooting after 9:00 a.m., especially from October to April, when the humidity and sunlight are high.
