Andy reached out to me for Bali proposal photography because he wanted this moment to be truly perfect for his girlfriend, Afgania. He planned to ask the big question right before their private romantic dinner at sunset. The plan was beautiful, but there was one little challenge. There was no place for me to hide at the dinner venue without making everything look suspicious.
To make the experience smooth and natural, Andy booked a two location photoshoot before the proposal. Our first stop was Melasti Beach, a stunning limestone cliff area with crystal blue water and soft sand. We took relaxed and warm photos there so Afgania would get used to having us around. She thought it was simply a holiday photoshoot and really enjoyed it.
After Melasti, we continued to Jumeirah Bali, where the private romantic dinner setup waited for them. By then, everything felt natural and comfortable. When the perfect sunset light arrived, Andy gently guided her toward the dinner table. With the ocean behind them and soft golden glow in the sky, he went down on one knee. Her reaction was full of emotion, surprise, and happy tears. It was one of those moments you could feel in your heart.
Andy also booked our video service to capture the moment beautifully. Here is a sample of our proposal video. For couples who choose video, please remember the video guy need to put on the lavalier microphone before the proposal starts. The sound from the camera microphone alone will not be clear because there is always wind and surrounding noise at outdoor locations in Bali.
Being chosen as their Bali proposal photographer felt like a true honor. It was a romantic, emotional, and meaningful moment to witness. I wish Andy and Afgania a lifetime of love, joy, and beautiful memories together.
