I recently had the pleasure of capturing Danielle and Jack’s wedding at Komune Resorts on Keramas Beach, Bali. They reached out late last year, excited to plan an intimate celebration by the ocean. After their heartfelt ceremony and a warm, joyful reception, we continued with a photo tour around the resort, moving between the coastline and the garden paths while they soaked in the feeling of just being married. Their connection was easy to photograph, and every moment felt genuine.
This year has been unusual in Bali with rain appearing even in what should have been the dry season. Danielle and Jack had light showers in the afternoon and again later at night, but it added a beautiful atmosphere to their story. Evening rain photography is something I work with often and it has become one of my signature styles. The soft light, the reflections, and the mood always create something uniquely romantic, as you can see from the moment captured below.
What makes Komune Resorts truly special is not only the coastal setting but also the team behind it. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. They take such good care of every detail, creating a relaxed experience for both couples and vendors. Working with their team is always smooth, and it allows me to focus entirely on capturing meaningful moments.
If you are planning your wedding at Komune Resorts, I would be happy to help document your day. The combination of a caring team and a beautiful location creates the perfect setting, rain or shine. Feel free to get in touch if you would like to discuss your plans or your photography needs at Komune.
